Abstract

The article focuses on searching the specifics of the relationship between environmental management and organization’s image. When the organization makes decisions about implementation of a selected environmental measure in order to strengthen the organization’s image, it shall first consider certain factors. The factors influencing the degree of strengthening the organization’s image as a result of the environmental measures implementation can be related to the organization’s specifics and its output, as well as to the nature of the selected measure. Finally, in decision-making about implementing a certain measure it is also necessary to consider external factors – cultural, social, psychological etc. Based on assessment of all the relevant aspects, the organization can decide for implementation of the environmental management and its specific tool.
